EVERYDAY ENVIRONMENT
Public
Your everyday phone experience. Calls, messages, familiar applications, and daily life.
A NEW APPROACH TO MOBILE PRIVACY
MonolithOS gives a single device two fully separate environments — Public and Work — isolated by the operating system itself.
Your everyday life and sensitive work, on one device. Separated by design.
THE CORE IDEA
Keep everyday activity separate from the things that matter most.
EVERYDAY ENVIRONMENT
Your everyday phone experience. Calls, messages, familiar applications, and daily life.
PROTECTED ENVIRONMENT
A separate environment for sensitive applications, private data, and work that deserves additional protection.
ONE PHYSICAL DEVICE · TWO DISTINCT ENVIRONMENTS
BUILT FOR RESPONSIBLE WORK
MonolithOS is built for people and organizations that need a stronger boundary between everyday mobile life and sensitive responsibilities.
Keep reporting, sources, and sensitive research separate from everyday mobile activity.
Maintain a clearer boundary around privileged matters, case material, and daily communications.
Carry protected tools and sensitive project data without managing a second physical phone.
Separate ordinary device use from higher-confidence work environments and managed policies.
DISCREET ACCESS
One familiar lock screen. Different credentials. Different environments.
The interface looks the same regardless of which valid credential you enter.
The credential determines access rather than a Public/Work menu.
Use the credential format supported by your device configuration.
SAFEGUARDS
Purpose-built safeguards for situations where protecting sensitive data takes priority.
A designated emergency credential triggers the configured removal of the protected Work environment.
A dedicated power-menu action initiates removal of Work without intentionally removing Public.
A configurable USB-C connection trigger initiates the selected Work removal response on supported devices.
An authorized, signed MonolithMDM command requests removal of Work when the managed device is online.
MONOLITHMDM
MonolithMDM provides remote management for supported MonolithOS devices while respecting the separation between Public and Work.
OPTIONAL MANAGEMENT · OFFLINE SAFEGUARDS
Management is optional, with local safeguards that remain relevant when network connectivity is unavailable.
Authorized, cryptographically signed commands initiate remote removal of the protected Work environment.
Remotely request a lock action on supported managed devices.
Manage supported policies for the protected environment, applications, and organizational requirements.
Management is designed around Work and must not silently expand into Public without an explicitly supported, disclosed capability.
Supported policies restrict camera, location, and microphone access inside the managed Work environment.
GUIDED SETUP
Configure your device, establish your environments, and understand the management options before you begin.

SECURITY FOUNDATIONS
Uses supported hardware-backed security capabilities where available.
Public and Work data use separate storage encryption boundaries tied to their configured credentials.
An operating-system-level approach to separating environments and restricting access.
Everyday calling remains associated with Public by design, according to the intended product configuration.
Minimizes app access to contacts, media, files, and device identifiers such as IMEI, MAC, IMSI, ICCID, and Device ID.
Randomizes MAC addresses per connection and resets supported DHCP client state before reconnecting.
Public and Work maintain separate encrypted storage boundaries. Each environment is unlocked by its configured credential, with hardware-backed key protection used on supported Pixel hardware.
SUPPORTED PRODUCT
MonolithOS is a supported product ecosystem with license-based access, ongoing updates, and optional device management through MonolithMDM.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Clear answers about environments, storage, management, connectivity, and product access.
Public and Work each have their own encrypted storage, unlocked only by that environment’s PIN or password. The keys are protected by the phone’s security chip, which limits how fast PINs can be guessed. When you leave Work, it shuts down and its key is cleared from memory, so Work data stays locked until you enter the Work PIN again.
One lock screen keeps your environments private in everyday use. Someone who sees your phone, or whom you unlock Public for, sees an ordinary phone with no user switcher and no other users listed. Work data stays encrypted and unreadable without the Work PIN. Hiding is about the interface; it does not remove Work from the phone. A detailed threat model will be published for high-risk use cases.
No. MonolithOS works fully on its own: you can install the apps you choose in both Public and Work. MonolithMDM is an optional add-on for stricter security policies and remote control, such as wiping Work from a distance.
Everything on the phone keeps working: separate PINs for Public and Work, encryption, the duress PIN, and local wipe controls. MonolithMDM policies already on the phone stay in force. New commands from MonolithMDM, such as a remote Work wipe, arrive when the phone is back online.
MonolithOS supports the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 series: Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, and 9a Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, 10 Pro Fold, and 10a
MonolithOS is available by subscription, which includes updates and support. Pricing and terms will be announced before launch.
